Add an email digest for new sightings
It would be useful to get a weekly summary of new lifer sightings nearby instead of having to manually check the radar map every time.

That would be a time saver. Checking the map every day is getting old.

Agreed. Just a simple list of top 5 species near my saved locations would work.
I totally see the value of this idea, but right now I’m not planning to build this, mainly because eBird already has Alerts that cover this use case pretty well. For now I’m focusing more on exploration and planning rather than replacing eBird features.
